Mark Ronson & Mystikal Team Up To Make You "Feel Right" Another Funky Joint
Mark Ronson can't seem to take his finger off of the trigger these days, dropping yet another funky gem on us from the BBC Radio 1 towers with the Mystikal-assisted "Feel Right." I know what you're thinking, but let me assure you this to be one of (if not the) best showings the N'awlins spitter's put forth since introducing us to the Godfather-repping "I got drums and shit" Mystikal of yesteryear. Speaking of JB, while the last few drops (both of which landed on us in quick succession these past few days) have certainly taken purple pioneers Prince and The Time to heart as their core reference pieces, this new joint has got "Hot Pants" and it needs to dance. It borrows a guitar lick and horn arrangement from Mr. Dynamite and gives the Southern son space to paint this thing red with that raspy squall, adding yet another dope installment from Ronson's forthcoming Uptown Special LP, which will arrive on January 27th via RCA. If you need a little more fuel for the funked-out fire, the British hit-maker will be taking his talents to Saturday Night Live next week to perform the lead-off (non-leaked) single "Uptown Funk" with Bruno Mars.
