For months now fans have awaited the announcement of an official release date for Killer Mike and El-P's Run The Jewels 3. The album has been teased with the lead-off singles "2100"" and "Talk To Me," but today the dynamic duo comes through with the big reveal. Run The Jewels 3 is will arrive on January 13th as a free digital download (just like the two prior albums,) featuring contributions from Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington, Tunde Adebimpe, Boots and Joi Gilliam.
"For RTJ3 the bandages are off, the chain is gone and the hands have been transformed into gold. For us this represents the idea that there is nothing to take that exists outside of yourself. You are the jewel."
Along with the release date, they've also share the full track list (see below) and the new single "Legend Has It," produced by longtime RTJ collaborator Little Shalamar and Wilder Zoby.
