There's no denying the indomitable nature of Kendrick Lamar's supreme turn-up anthem "Alright." From its surreal, high-flying visual treatment to being adopted as an uplifting anthem of unrest in Cleveland and the world over as of late, it's safe to say that the song has been warmly embraced by the masses, new and old schools alike. Last night, K Dot served as headliner for Montreal's Osheaga Festival, where none other than Mos Def Yasiin Bey joined the 28-year-old little brother of the neo-soul movement onstage to perform that insta-classic for their north-of-the-border constituency, who roared with excitement once Black Dante grabbed the mic.

And truth be told, the two made an impeccable pairing, as Bey & Lamar rocked in tandem with a full band in tow churning out a more jazz and church-inflected version of Pharrell & Sounwave's trap-laced production. According to Pigeons & Planes (who captured this moment on video) another standout moment from the performance found K Dot delivering his "Fuckin Problems" verse over Dr. Dre's "Xxplosive."So yes, we're incredibly jealous of all you Canadian heads up there. No, there isn't anymore redeemable video of the performance. But you can peep Yasiin Bey hitting the stage with Kendrick Lamar below. Grab a copy of Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly on iTunes and cross your fingers that these two meet in some studio on some planet soon.
