Kendrick Lamar's 'untitled unmastered' LP Is Headed To Vinyl + Even More New Music May Be On The Way

You may still be absorbing the dopeness of Kendrick Lamar's surprise untitled unmastered LP, but it appears the Compton rapper has even more in store for us in these first few months of 2016. As indicated by TDE's Top (who has certainly been on the phone as of late,) the jolting sneak-release will soon see its release on physical formats including CD and vinyl, arriving as soon as this week.

And while an acetate treatment should surely pique interests, Top Dawg's in-house producer, Sounwave, has revealed that we may see even more new-to-you releases could very well be en route. In a recent interview with ComplexSounwave claimed:

“Those songs were ones that we really loved and were hurt that we couldn’t put them on the album. They also have important messages in them, so Kendrick wanted to share those messages with the world. Why not share these records?”

Why not, indeed. By even the most modest of measurements, we certainly haven't had our fill of K Dot this year. And with untitled unmastered burning up brains left and right, this could prove to be yet another brilliant move from the conquer-all west coast camp. Keep your eyes on us for a precise release date of those physical copies and hold an ear to the ground for even more Kendrick Lamar rumblings in the days and weeks ahead. Your boy seems to have plenty still in the works.
