Harlem Songstress Courtnie Drops Her Carefree New Track "Coastin'"

Harlem based songstress, Courtnie, has held my attention with the singles she’s dropped over the last few weeks, and this might be my favorite thus far. With her Nebula EP dropping next week, she gives us a listen to the intro track, “Coastin’.” The Brandon Combs produced cut definitely has a laid-back feel to it, but has more depth than you might catch at first listen. Check the track below, as well as Courtnie’s words on her latest jam. Look for Courtnie’s Neblua EP to drop on November 23rd.

My good friend Brandon Combs, who's touring with The Internet right now, produced this track. I wrote it while spending the first part of my summer in Los Angeles and Uganda last year, and I just felt a sense of liberation from things that had been weighing me down in life. I feel like this mindset and laid back, carefree melody is especially crucial in these winter months that are approaching. Every time I listen to it now I'm taken to a place with less worries, and I hope it does the same for anyone else who hears
