I have to be honest, I haven’t really paid attention to Dido for a minute, not since her feature on one of my favorite hip-hop songs of all time, Eminem‘s “Stan.” But I couldn’t pass this one when I saw that man of the moment, Kendrick Lamar, was featured on the newest single from her upcoming Girl Who Got Away. “Let Us Move On” features co-production from the UK singer-songwriter’s brother Rollo Armstrong and Jeff Bhasker, and of course the classic soft vocals from Dido herself. On any other day this might be a welcome change of pace from the rappity-raps. On a day like today, the hushed refrain of “Let Us Move On” is one of the few things that even makes sense. Listen below.
