Spry Pittsburgh rhymesayer Devin Miles has been making waves in his hometown for some time now, grabbing the ears and pens of local press with his first single "Came Up" and two years on the ground. Today we have the pleasure of premiering a jazzed-up, ivory-flecked joint with his latest number "No Different," a warm-up for his forthcoming full-length debut Pixburgh. The first thing you'll notice is that there's a serious swagger to this young MC, one that isn't hinged on shiny things or acting too tough.

Rather, Miles flaunts an effortless delivery over a vibe-heavy production from Christo, as if he'd been in your top 10 all along. Go ahead and get familiar with Devin Miles' cooled-out loosie "No Different" below and read a few words from the artist on how the track came together. If you're still itching for more, preorder your copy of Pixburgh on iTunes today. Keep your ear to the ground folks, we've got a hunch that you'll be hearing plenty more of him soon enough.

“This record came about pretty randomly. One day I was In the lab with Christo and TreeJay, and I asked Christo if he had any cool or smooth shit. He played this beat and it instantly made me stand up. We were on this streak of making cool, chill shit so it really worked out perfectly. I had the idea that it’s like the Oceans 13 music and we just continued to develop the overall feel we were aiming for. I had TreeJay loop the hook, and the words for it just kinda spilled out. I definitely wanted to make something that people would be able to sing along to and feel good while doing so. Christo is one of the illest samplers out so that piano really spoke to me, especially because I am a pianist myself.”
