De La Soul's New Single "Action" Arrives As An 'Angry Birds' Bonus

Fresh off the release of an updated classic, De La Soul has shared another non-album cut today in the build-up to their quickly approaching And The Anonymous Nobody LP. "Action" was released today in conjunction with Rovio's new Angry Birds Action game, and finds The Plugs riding an uptempo groove akin to their earliest funk-fueled work.

It's a lighthearted joint, no doubt, but it just proves that De La's still got buoyant bars for days, if not years. And it serves as a nice little warm-up for their crowdfunded album, which is slated to arrive on August 26th as their first self-released record. There is one catch, however.
