Kendrick lamar The Recipe

Since that initial co-sign from The Doctor, this is the collaboration we’ve all been waiting for. As promised, Kendrick Lamar debuted his Dre assisted single “The Recipe” this morning on Power 106 FM in L.A. The Scoop DeVille produced song serves as the first single off K dot’s upcoming Aftermath debut LP. Women, weed, weather, sounds like the right recipe to me. I’m all for some good light up and ride out music – what y’all think?

Because they’re writing his rhymes too! It’s hard not to sound like yourself…

    • CoKanutz

that;s cuz they wrote his verse

Shxt is dope. The album should be, too

  • HumbLe Modesto

that’s cause it’s always ghost-written by the artist he’s on with (mostly)

they should’ve just scratched the title ‘recipe’ and made it ‘detox’. this is way doper than anything dre will do on that album. hopefully some cuts from this album make it on there.

  • ca all day

this is extra dope…KDot kills every song he is on. CA All Day

i loved this song until they started rhymin. beats dope! dre sounds the same as kendrick, im sorry kendrick is fuckin with aftermath. im also sorry dre is still rappin, only reason he is still relevant is because eminem made him relevant. unfortunately dre is also what made eminem unrelevant. besides i think enough “ride out” music has been made

    Ahh.. Some refreshing stuff.

  • Khalil

    Im gonna back to CALI!

  • Fuck the world!

Dre said he didn’t do the beat but I bet he mixed it though. That’s why it cranks!

Kendrick gotta be my favorite new artist since Jay Elect.

  • Frank

As much as I like Kendrick and Dre they don’t do the beat justice; I doubt many rappers could though. I hope the instrumental gets released
