Video: A$Ap Rocky x The Roots – “Goldie” Live On LNWJF

It-boy A$AP Rocky  joined The Roots on the stage of LNWJF last night for a surprisingly compelling live rendition of his most recognizable hit “Goldie” donning his white jodhpurs (those joints are so tight you can count the crumpled bills in his right hip-pocket, no Rummel) and dusting off his voice-altering sizzurp plug-in for the hook. As much as I enjoyed the universes-collide moment of Black Thought killing Drake‘s part on “No Lie” there is actually more for the rest of the band to do on this joint (especially ?uesto‘s focused drum-work recreating the odd shuffle of the programmed beat) and I, for one am probably going to have this joint set to ‘loop’ for the rest of the day.
