Amy Winehouse's 2003 Debut 'Frank' Is Getting A Vinyl Reissue This Year

It's been four long and terribly sad years since the tragic passing of vintage soul redeemer Amy Winehouse. And while many of us likely know her for the sophomore breakout LP Back To Black, it is often forgotten that three yeas prior, she released her under-the-radar debut record Frank. It was on Frank that we were first introduced to the British soulstress' now iconic wail and made privy to the fact that a soul music renaissance was now underway. But even if you missed that overlooked gem, you'll soon have the opportunity to get acquainted with the record in a forthcoming vinyl reissue; the very first repressing of her debut since the year of her death. And it will serve as the perfect companion piece to the highly anticipated documentary Amy, shining an intimate light on her musical beginnings and providing reference for her growth as a vocalist and songwriter. The reissue is slated to arrive on July 31st via Elusive Disc and is available to preorder today. Hit the link below to grab your copy and keep it locked as we creep up on the US release of Amy on July 10th.
