The crooner-of-the-day has taken on the producer-of-the-day to churn out a track full-o-funk, sporting the bounce on the bottom, a soulful and minimal horn arrangement and a very Stevie Wonder-esque mid-song breakdown that will make you listen twice.
While he might have caught his break with 2010's "I Need A Dollar," Blacc is no stranger to star power, having started his come-up with Exile and various members of Lootpack back in the 90's. Now he' a go-to for everyone from Skateboard P to Avicii, whose "Wake Me Up" hit #1 on Billboard this past summer, which came off their collaborative LP True, which has been sitting pretty on charts all around the world.
