OKP Premiere: Adrian Younge, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Karolina & Loren Oden Connect For Silky New Joint "Feel Alive"

Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad collided with Israeli soulstress Karolina and Venice Dawn lead Loren Oden on the silky, slow-burning one-off "Feel Alive." For those of you following along at home and working out the musical math, that's two beat constructors, two angelic vocalists, one righteously soulful joint. The new collaboration also just happens to be our first taste of a forthcoming Linear Labs compilation LP.

So far it tastes like, wavy rhodes, Motown melodics, steady knocks and soaring harmonies, all of which permeate this groove, lending itself to those "night time is the right time" moments and not to mention the occasional stroll through the park. But don't for a second think that this is some standalone sonic specimen, as the Linear Labs compilation is due to arrive May 19th with a wealth of sultry soul. What's more, the whole crew will be delivering the goods live & direct this Friday, May 15th, at The Regent Theatre in Los Angeles, where Fab Five Freddy will host a celebration of the label's recent releases, with Bilal, Laetitia Sadier and yet to be announced special guests all slated bring the ruckus (there's more to come from the Linear Labs crew, so stay woke to the possibility of more joints dropping today).
