Back in 2015 Dame Dash was expected to release a film titled Too Honorable that starred Stacey Dash, Cam'ron, and himself, and was executive produced by Kanye West. However, the movie, which was slated to drop on May 25, 2015, never was released.

Now, Dame has offered an update on the movie. Taking to Instagram the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder revealed that Too Honorable is now named Honor Up and will be in theaters February 2018. Also, judging by the people he included in the caption for the post Raekwon, Sheek Louch, Styles P, Jadakiss, are also involved in some capacity.

Recently, Dame spoke with TMZ on his past days as "Champagne Dame" and said he is "embarrassed by it."

"When I was young and in hip-hop, I [knew] that with disrespecting women, you got a positive response from it. I look at the things like 'Big Pimpin'' and I'm embarrassed by it," Dash said. "I wouldn’t want my daughter to go through that, and if I ever saw my son Boogie doing that we would have some serious issues. When I had daughters, I realized that I wouldn’t never do anything to a girl that I wouldn’t want done to my own daughter."

While speaking with TMZ Dash also talked about an altercation that took place between him and Harvey Weinstein, where he allegedly slapped the former film executive. The rumor was revived when Cam’ron referenced it in the recently-released Dipset track “Once Upon a Time,” rapping “No disrespecting the ladies, word from my team (why)/That’s the reason Dame smacked Harvey Weinstein/On the set of Paid In Full, y’all gave him hell about it/Some foul shit happened once, Capo, tell ’em about it.”

“I can definitely say someone got smacked on the set of Paid in Full,” Dame said. “But, you know, I never really liked the way Harvey treated my culture. I didn’t like the way he was talking to people and I didn’t like the way he was treating my film.”

“Somebody did get smacked on that set,” Dame added. “I got sued over it but I won. Harvey is someone who was trying not to put out my movie. And I had to really get aggressive with him and make sure he did right by it. Had I not fought for the movie, you would have never seen it.”
