Ivan Ave - Behind The Eyes

Ivan Ave follows the 2017 release of his full-length album Every Eye with the premiere of his exclusive Behind The Eyes mix set. Taking fans into the records that inspired the Jakarta Records project, Ivan Ave allows listeners to retrace his steps.

Behind The Eyes is a mix I made while writing and recording my latest album, Every Eye. These are records that inspired me throughout that period, and the way I put them together is meant to mirror the ups and downs of my process. I wanted to create a narrative within the mix that sums up my journey from coming up with the concept for the album, to finally having it in my hands. Thank you for listening. Love.

Amber Jeanne - Speak Up Instrumentals

Moonchild frontwoman and multi-instrumentalist, Amber Jeanne Navran, drops the accompaniment to her latest solo project with the arrival of the Speak Up Instrumentals. The instrumentals follow the Speak Up EP, which landed in October 2017.

Put your creative self out into the world. Don't let self doubt, or fear, or lack of knowledge/resources stop you. Borrow what you need, call people for help, work after work, take time when you need space, set a deadline. Don't listen to people's expectations of you or to your own voice telling you it's not good enough. Believe that you can, fight to be heard, empower yourself, trust your ear, be inspired by others, feel fear and create in spite of it - speak up.
