It’s the final Friday of 2025 and hopefully everyone has been having happy holidays! As the year winds down, so do releases, so this week is pretty light compared to our usual crop of new music. But even with so many artists recovering from Christmas dinner and sitting this week out, there’s still dope new ish for the people!

Christmas Eve saw Snoop Dogg drop his new single “Christmas in Minnesota” just in time for his halftime performance on Christmas Day at the Vikings-Lions game on Netflix. The show also featured HUNTR/X's Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, country artist Lainey Wilson, and tenor vocalist Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo.

Tyler, The Creator also delivered a gift for his fans, in the form of “Sag Harbor,” but it has yet to be made available on DSPs – you can check out the YouTube vid below, however. And Lil Uzi Vert is asking “What You Saying,” as Sexyy Red drops off “If You Want It.” And Max B makes his return official, with a massive mixtape.

Cash Cobain drops a sequel to “Hoes Be Mad” and $uicideboy$ release their newest album, alongside Vic Spencer and August Fanon

Each week, Okayplayer will deliver a roundup of all the latest new heat from some of our favorite artists. Check out the latest offerings in our playlist below.

NEW SONGS

TYLER, THE CREATOR - “SAG HARBOR”

He caps what has been another top-shelf year with this contemplative and atmospheric single. It’s kind of amazing that he’s still got heat like this sitting in the chamber after he’s dropped so much dopeness in 2025.

SNOOP DOGG - “CHRISTMAS IN MINNESOTA”

Just before he was rocking halftime at the Vikings-Lions game on Christmas Day, Uncle Snoop stuffed your stocking with a brand new single. Don’t say he never gave you nuthin.’

CASH COBAIN W/BUNNAB, YKNIECE, LOE SHIMMY, ZEDDY WILL - “HOES BE MAD (2.0)”

An infectious track from the “Sexy Drill” trailblazer and some of his rowdy friends. One of the most undeniable voices coming out of NYC right now – and he delivers a posse track vibe for 2025.

LIL UZI VERT - “WHAT YOU SAYING”

Uzi drops this quirky-but-danceable track that sounds like Kate Bush dropped into a nightclub. Perfect example of less is more.

NARDO WICK - “KLAP”

He specializes in a kind of cold antagonism, and on his latest, he reworks an Eminem classic to chilling effect. He’s becoming one of the best at delivering on the darkness.

SEXXY RED - “IF YOU WANT IT”

The fiery rapper out of St. Louis had to bring you something for the season and she dropped off this anthem about getting something started “if you want it.” The kind of unflinchingly raunchy rap she’s known for.

JIM JONES, MAINO, FABOLOUS, DAVE EAST - “SQUATTERS RIGHTS FREESTYLE”

The crew from Let’s Rap About It drops a lyrical showcase on Christmas Day. And yeah, 50 Cent seems to catch a few — over some classic G-Unit beats, no less.

NEW ALBUMS

CHANCE THE RAPPER AND JEREMIH - ‘SECRET SANTA’

Chance and Jeremih have become reliable collaborators around Christmastime, and on the heels of their previous holiday-themed releases, the dynamic duo returns with this new Christmas-themed EP.

MAX B - ‘PUBLIC DOMAIN 7: THE PURGE (PATIENT ZERO DELUXE)’

He’s back. The seventh installment in his Public Domain series is a massive 24 songs – with features from A$AP Rocky, Kehlani, French Montana, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Chinx, Lola Brooke and Red Cafe.

$UICIDEBOY$ - ‘THY WILL BE DONE’

The duo out of New Orleans surprise-dropped their sixth album on Christmas Day. The project was initially intended to be a second disc of Thy Kingdom Come, but it evolved into its own creative statement.

VIC SPENCER, AUGUST FANON - ‘PSYCHOLOGICAL CHEAT SHEET 6’

The latest in Spencer’s long-running Psychological Cheat Sheet series is an ambitious musical journey, buoyed by the sonically and artistically rich contributions of August Fanon.
