September means football, school days and watching those fall temperatures drop, but don’t sleep on the music; there are some dope albums dropping throughout the month. 

We’ve got some of the biggest superstars dropping new music this month; from Cardi B’s long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama? to Vie — the new project from Doja Cat. And, of course, the queen herself makes a grand return as Mariah Carey delivers her new album, Here For It All.

Here are some of the albums we are looking forward to this month

ROC C AND ARIANO - ‘HOMEGROWN’

(Sept. 5)

These two stalwarts of the underground scene are set to drop their collaborative album, an ambitious and expansive 20-track project. It’s Cali represented well by two of the Golden State’s best.

EL SNAPPO - ‘NOT FA DA INDUSTRY’ MIXTAPE

(Sept. 5)

The title says it all. With the release of his new single “Customer,” Snappo let fans know that his latest mixtape was coming. 

STATIK SELEKTAH, WAIS P AND THE MUSALINI - ‘CHOOSE OR LOSE’

(Sept. 5)

The trifecta joins forces on this collaborative album — eight tracks including the already-released “Can A Player Live” and “Return of the Mack.”

SAIGON AND BUCKWILD - ‘PAINT THE WORLD BLACK’

(Sept. 5)

Some collabs just always make sense. Two respected figures of NYC street rap are dropping their latest. And there’s a documentary alongside the album. 

DAZ DILLINGER - ‘RETALIATION, REVENGE AND GET BACK 3’

(Sept. 11)

There may be drama in the house of Death Row, but this Dogg Pounder stays working. He drops Get Back 3 just three months after Get Back 2.

TY DOLLA $IGN - ‘TYCOON’

(Sept. 12)

After dropping lead single “All In,” and after delays halted its initial July release date, Ty’s fourth album is set to hit the streets. 

ICE CUBE - ‘MAN UP’

(Sept. 12)

The Cali icon returns with his twelfth studio album and the follow up to last year’s Man Down. And lead single “Before Hip-Hop” drops today.

KING ISO - ‘GHETTO PSYCHO’

(Sept. 12)

Get ready to go psycho! The Strange Music star returns with another set of horrorcore bangers. 

LIIM - ‘LIIM LASALLE LOVES YOU’

(Sept. 12)

He’s ready to take the next step. After making a name for himself with tracks like 2022’s “Pupils,” the NYC product drops his debut album. 

CHRIS WEBBY - ‘88 MILLIGRAMS’ EP

(Sept. 17)

No features and no fillers. This is a stripped-down showcase. Just Webby teaming up with superproducer Scott Storch for this six-track project. 

CARDI B - ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’

(Sept. 19)

After her recent legal victory, Cardi can get back to music. The Bronx bombshell drops her sophomore studio album this month — on the heels of lead single “Imaginary Playerz.”

ATMOSPHERE - ‘JESTURES’

(Sept. 19)

Over the summer, Slug and Ant announced their new album and shared singles “Velour” and “Really,” and a music video directed by Melby. They’re also set to close out their tour on the day the album drops. 

HALIMA - ‘SWEET TOOTH’

(Sept. 19)

She’s been building her name and her catalog as part of the creative collective, FACTORY. Now she’s dropping her long-awaited debut.

DJ SNAKE - ‘NOMAD’

(Sept. 26)

The DJ is set to drop his third studio album; teaming with Don Tolliver. The project is already being supported by recent singles like "Something Wrong.”

LADY WRAY - ‘COVER GIRL’

(Sept. 26)

Her chemistry with producer Leon Michaels is undeniable. After releasing the title track as a single in early September, the singer-songwriter is set to drop her first album since 2022’s Piece Of Me.

MARIAH CAREY - ‘HERE FOR IT ALL’

(Sept. 26)

Her two singles this summer were well-received and perfectly set the table. The pop megastar is back with her new album — and her first project since her high-profile signing with Gamma.

DOJA CAT - ‘VIE’

(Sept. 26)

Her fans are eagerly awaiting. After dropping “Jealous Type” in August, Doja is set to release her fifth album later this month. 

ROCHELLE JORDAN - ‘THROUGH THE WALL’

(Sept. 26)

The British Canadian singer is dropping her first album since 2012's Playing With the Changes; and she’s working with house guru DJ Terry Hunter, Byron the Aquarius and KLSH.
