ONE Musicfest is back in Atlanta this weekend. The nation's largest Black-owned music festival is paying tribute to Atlanta's legacy this year. ATL favorites set to appear include Future, Ludacris, Jagged Edge and a reunion of the famed Dungeon Family.
"Atlanta is our home, and this year we're celebrating it in the biggest way possible — with Future, Ludacris, and a historic Dungeon Family Reunion honoring the life and legacy of Rico Wade, a true giant in hip hop," said Jason “J.” Carter, founder of ONE Musicfest in a press release.
Rico Wade, co-founder of the legendary production trio Organized Noize and linchpin of the Dungeon Family collective, died in 2024.
This is One Music Fest’s 16th year, and the outdoor concert also features heavy hitters like Doechii and The Roots, with Mary J. Blige. Other performers include Jazmine Sullivan, Wale, Busta Rhymes, and Ari Lennox.
“ONE Musicfest has always been about uniting legends, elevating new voices, and creating unforgettable cultural moments,” explained Carter. “While we’re paying tribute to Atlanta’s legacy, this year’s lineup reflects the richness and diversity of Black music and culture from across the globe.”
The festival has traditionally been a boon for the Atlanta creative economy via support of Black-owned businesses as vendors. The organization also sustains partnerships year-round, and the festival also employs more than 5,000 people annually.
One Music Fest is taking place at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26.
