After placing a song on the video game NBA 2K17, Bay Area producer/rhymer White Dave (born Noah Coogler) keeps the rhymes coming with his new song "Los Feliz."

"Los Feliz" is a freestyle White Dave recorded in the hillside Los Angeles neighborhood of the same name, while his brothers film director Ryan Coogler and Keenan Coogler were working on the early stages of the upcoming Marvel film Black Panther. The song carries that vibe with a smooth, laid-back 808 Mafia instrumental and effortlessly dexterous rhymes from Dave.

“Making music in Los Feliz was refreshing after spending a couple months in Hollywood. I felt a little more connected to my surroundings and what was happening in my life at the time,” White Dave said. "I actually got inspired to do this freestyle after walking to Mixto for a lunch break in between recording sessions."

White Dave was given his rap name by his older brother Ryan. His most recent mixtape was Enjoy in 2013, but he has kept busy since then. He placed three songs in the soundtrack to "Creed" - "Intolerant," "Let You Know" and "In The Kitchen." He also has a song called "Bands" that appeared in the NBA 2K17. "Los Feliz" will appear on White Dave's upcoming mixtape Season of the Rich, which drops in December. He recorded the tape while Ryan and Keenan were in the early stages of making Marvel's Black Panther, which Ryan Coogler is directing.
