Thundercat Ushers A Wolf Into The Afterlife In Trippy "Song For The Dead" Video
Celebrating one year to the day of the release of his The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam mini-LP, Thundercat has released a psychedelically-tinged new video for the album cut "Song For The Dead." The video -- animated by Ry No -- finds Cat helping to usher a fallen wolf into the afterlife via ritual guitar sacrifice and MPC serenade, touching and sentimental all at once. The clip arrives ahead of a grip of forthcoming shows, including Brainfeeder's cosmic showcase, set for Saturday, September 17th, at the Hollywood Bowl, featuring Flying Lotus, George Clinton & Funkadelic,Gaslamp Killer and Shabazz Palaces.
