Shaggy (Yes, That Shaggy) Resurfaces w/ A Blessing From The Godfather On New Single "I Got You"

I guess we never thought we'd see the names Shaggy and James Brown in the same place at the same time (unless, of course, we're talking about The Godfather's rough mid-addiction doo.) But as the reggae artist readies a new album, a follow-up to 2013's Sly & Robbie-produced Out of Many, One Music, it appears we'll have to bite the bullet and call it what it is.
In preparation for the new release, Shaggy has released the infectious new tune "I Got You," flipping Mr. Dynamite's "I Feel Good" riff into a certified dancehall heater, featuring the assistance of Jovi Rockwell. It's a far shot from the tracks that put him on the map back in the 90s and early 2000s, but this brassy and bold cross-genre concoction is ripe for summer, and will demand repeated rotations after just the first play.
