Prodigy is on the verge of a big solo-career move, it seems. Taking to Instagram Wednesday, the New York City hip-hop legend and one half of Mobb Deep posted what appears to be a brief trailer for a new LP entitled The Hegelian Dialectic. Set to chilling music that sounds as if it were pulled from the latest Hollywood horror flick, the clip features outlines philosophic arguments, at least one photo of Prodigy in the studio (although it's a dated shot) and the notice "Keep Calm: This Is All Apart Of The Hegelian Dialectic." We're also given a heads-up that the material is "Based on True Shit." What does it all mean? Is that "Apart" a typo, or a clever entendre? Hopefully we'll find out soon.
Additional details as to when The Hegelian Dialectic will drop are still scarce at the moment, but we'll be the first to express just how very excited we are to be getting new material from such an iconic voice in the genre. Watch the album's trailer below and be sure to check back often for more.
