Music director/author/educator–and most of all, drummer– ”Swiss Chris,” who has drummed with some of the best including John Legend, Chubb Rock, Mos Def, Kanye, Snoop, Wyclef, dead prez (the list goes on) - hits again this Sunday night in the East Vil for his weekly jam session. NYC musicians come on out if you can jam with the best of them! It all goes down at The Bamboo this Sunday night. The S.W.I.S.S. (Saving With Instruments, Samples and Soundz) Sundays jam session will of course attract a who’s who of guest musicians, poets, singers, MCs and dancers from Chris’ network of collaborators. For this week's jam expect to see Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew in addition to Catalyst Yalinidream, Chesney Snow, Varuni Tiruchelvam, and Jendog Lonewolf. The night has a great old-school NYC hip-hop vibe.
