Junia T Waxes Nostalgic On His Latest Cut "How Can I"
Junia T has been dazzling us with a rare balance of microphone and MPC proficiency for months now. Today we've got another smoothed-out number from the Toronto beat bomber with the release of "How Can I" off the forthcoming Eye See You project, which has bared all kinds of delicious fruits of frequency, including the OKP-premiered Golden Era revival jawns "Sky Is Falling" and "Too Smoove."
This new joint finds our north-of-the-border do-it-all waxing nostalgic over a dearly departed loved one on an all-too-sweet chop of Mary J Blige's "Be Happy" with that opening (and sobering) line doing time on the hook. All the while, a washed-out six-string, tender and faint horn arrangements pull on the all of the heart's strings. It's another choice testament to the heat T has been cooking up over the past few months and it's got us thinking that Eye See You is about to be a must-hear. Luckily, you won't have to wait much longer, as Junia T's new project drops November 4th. You already know we'll have all the goodies for you as soon as they arrive, so be sure to stay tuned.
