Flying Lotus Hints At New Music & Upcoming Film Project In Twitter AMA
Flying Lotus fielded some of your most burning inquiries yesterday in an impromptu AMA styled session on Twitter yesterday, keening us to some new projects that he may have in the works. After the success of his lead-off single "Never Catch Me" with hip-hop's most celebrated MC in Kendrick Lamar, some folks were wondering if they'd have any new collaborations to look forward to or if FlyLo had any feelings about his forthcoming GKMC follow-up. The latter was answered with a resounding and implicit "yes," while the former went untouched for the time being.
But that isn't all the eccentric and eclectic creative being has in store for in the coming year. Apparently, he's also in the process of penning a film treatment, which could go the way of Childish Gambino's surreal and off-beat short Clapping For The Wrong Reasons, directed by their mutual acquaintance and kindred creative Hiro Murai. On top of all that, there is, of course, new music on the way and even a new video that could arrive as early as next week, not to mention nods to Danny Brown and Flatbush Zombies for potential collaborative schemes. So be sure to keep it locked, good people. The next few weeks and months could be awfully eventful in the weird and wild world of Flying Lotus. Peep the tweets for yourself below.
