Bonnaroo organizers announce plans for its first ever hip-hop superjam featuring RZA, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Earl Sweatshirt, Schoolboy Q, Chad Hugo, Solange and more. This is the third superjam to materialize as the festival inches closer to kick-off on June 13th. There will be one superjam led by Ed Helms' Bluegrass Situation and another with Jim James of My Morning Jacket at the helm. Jim James takes the reins from ?uestlove this year. Considering the frequency of James' appearances with The Roots and other Okayplayers, it is possible that there could be a few familiar faces in the mix. News of the hip-hop superjam arrives just in time to send ticket holders into overdrive as anticipation for the three-day fest balloons. Boston funk band Lettuce will back the artists crammed into the lineup for the hip-hop jam. Their addition to the roster could make this as epic as the history making superjam at Bonnaroo 2012 featuring D'Angelo and ?uestlove.
