Statik Selektah Delivers An Airy Remix Of Big Sean's "One Man Can Change The World"

Big Sean delivered his first of four drops in even fewer days on Tuesday when he unveiled his tender "Grandma's Hands" update "One Man Can Change The World," featuring Kanye West and John Legend. The exceptionally minimal, piano-led ballad was certainly refreshing as it offered a softer side to Sean, auto-crooning the hook to his tributary for granny, which certainly follows in the "Only One" vein of vocally-filtered big-ups-for-ma-dukes cuts that have been landing more and more often in the commercial end of the left-field. Nothing wrong with that. But what about those of us that just wanted to hear the track put against something reminiscent of a Motown shuffle, or just anything that could provide the ironically titled cut with a bit of backbone? In steps the frequency freaker known as Statik Selektah to add that rhythmic support and really give you something to bop your head to. While the remix will likely live in internet purgatory for the time being, the original can be found on Big Sean's forthcoming Dark Sky Paradise, arriving February 24th via Def Jam. You can preorder the album on iTunes today to get the OG cut or...you can rock with Statik Selektah's properly minimal rework below until your neck tenses up and your cheeks start to hurt from smiling so damn much.
