And Now, A Beginner's Guide To 'Game Of Thrones' From Samuel L. Jackson

If you're like me, the mere thought of diving into a show as unanimously lauded as Game Of Thrones sends you running for the hills. Maybe it's the principle of it all, or that I just can't get with this fantastically gory phenomenon that just doesn't seem to end, but either way, I'm not touching GOT until I can digest it at my own pace (or once the show has fully run its course.)

But maybe you've been itching for a comprehensive Game Of Thrones primer to help ease you into what is easily a few month's worth of binge-watching and plan-cancelling. If that's the case, look no further. Samuel L. Jackson -- a man whose voice is now synonymous with the phrase "Yes they deserve to die, and I hope they burn in hell!" -- has offered his oratory brilliance to the unschooled masses, narrating a swear-y (and hilarious) recap of the show's first five seasons to help bring you up to speed.

All of which is to say, if Black Thought's musically-driven musings have left you wanting a little more from your Game Of Thrones recap, you now have a very real alternative and once it's all said and done, a frame of reference if you're just looking to jump on the Game Of Thrones train as it's rolling by. As for this writer, I'm still not touching it.
