With DJ Shadow's new album The Mountain Will Fall finally out and about in the world, we finally know what a sample-less Shadow track feels like (damn-good, for the record.) But it also provides us with the perfect opportunity to look back on the legendary producer's early work with new perspective, and in today's case, through the eyes of one of his modern-day disciples. During a recent set at Electric Brixton in London, Shadow spun a big-drum remix of his Endtroducing standout "Midnight In A Perfect World," updated by none other than Hudson Mohawke.
