After more than a year, Issa Rae'shit show Insecure returns this Sunday. Throughout the years, Insecure has curated some of the finest tunes from established and up-and-coming artists. That isn't changing anytime soon.

One of the songs that will be featured on Sunday's season four premiere episode, "Lowkey Feelin' Myself," is a jam from Boston-born, Los Angeles-based singer TeaMarrr. The episode will feature TeaMarrr's simmering new single, "Cool Enough." Lucky for you, you don't have to wait until Sunday to hear the song. We are premiering the new track, which features TeaMarrr addressing someone — a lover? — who double-crossed her.

On the song she sings:

You switched sides on me

Found out you on me lied

Now it’s bye bye bye bye homie

My nigga you switched sides on me

In a press release, TeaMarrr talks about her new single, saying:

The song is about facing betrayal after you put your heart on your sleeve. It's about realizing that not everyone is on your side even the people you’re certain of.

“Cool Enough” will be featured on her forthcoming major label EP debut, Just A Sip…, The EP is expected to drop later this year.

This is the second new song TeaMarr has dropped this year. In February she released the sentimental "Kinda Love," which features an appearance from Rhythm + Flowwinner D smoke. Before that, TeaMarrr was best known for her 2018 mini hit"One Job." From there she signed a deal with Issa Rae's Raedio label, becoming the first artist on the label.
