Teyana Taylor is a Phone Sex Operator in the "1800-One-Night" Video

Teyana Taylor directed the video for her latest The Album single.

On Tuesday, Teyana Taylor dropped the video for "1800-One-Night," the latest single from The Album. The video takes place in a call center for a phone sex hotline, in a Spike Lee-inspired fantasy. Stream the full video below.

The video draws inspiration from Girl 6, the 1996 comedy directed by Lee. The film follows Judy, played by Theresa Randle, a struggling aspiring actress who makes ends meet by becoming a phone sex operator. Quentin Tarantino makes a cameo, as well as noted Italian filmmaker John Turturro.

"As always it takes a village!" Taylor wrote on Instagram. "So S/O da squad! This was so much fun!"

In Taylor's reimagining of the film, their clients' deepest fantasies are just another normal day at the office. Taylor and her coworkers drink wine, clip their nails, snack, and generally enjoy life while upholding the fantasy for the time being. In the closing moments of the video, Taylor breaks character. "I'm too pregnant for this shit," she exclaims, as the cast and crew closes down the set.

The Album debuted at number eight on the United States' Billboard 200, earning 32,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. The project was Taylor's first top-ten appearance on the chart.

The deluxe edition of The Album features bonus videos for "How You Want It?" featuring King Combs, "Morning" featuring Kehlani, "Bare Wit Me," "Wake Up Love" with Iman Shumpert, "Made It," and "We Got Love," featuring Lauryn Hill.
