Snoop Dogg served as a guest recently on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, where the California rapper discussed Kanye West's recent controversial remarks involving Donald Trump, how rappers continue to compare themselves to the late Tupac, and smoking weed in front of Oprah.

The latter topic finds Snoop talking about the time he smoked in front of Oprah at a William Morris party.

"I got to the party and I walk in and motherf**kin' Oprah Winfrey is right there but Gayle [King] comes to me first," Snoop recalls. "She walks over like 'What's happening Snoop Dogg?'...I take a picture with her and then I slide off to the back and then I'm like 'Let me see if they really f**k with me."

From there, Snoop recalls smoking up and people coming to join him, including King. From there, he remembers wanting to pass the joint to Oprah but too many people were looking. So what did he do instead?

"I blew a long range 'O' at her and that motherf**ker just slid across the room, and it hit her in her face and exploded," the rapper said.

In regards to West, the discussion is brought up by Breakfast Club host DJ Envy, when he references a recent social media post Snoop made about the importance of having a strong woman in a person's life. From there, Envy asks if West's marriage with Kim Kardashian-West might be influencing his recent antics.

"I hate to be black and white. There's no black women in his life. Let's just keep that 100," Snoop replied. I got aunties that'll pull up with those big old church hats on, 'ni**a what's happening? what you on? It got to a point where it was funny, then it got sad."

Snoop then speaks on the death of West's mother, Donda, and how influential she was in his life.

"That's when I started to think that, how she was instrumental in his life," Snoop said. "Remember the music that he was making when she was here and the spirit that he had? That's gone now, if you never lost your mother, you don't understand that feeling."

Snoop also spoke on rappers comparing themselves to Tupac, saying:

"I mean, you can say that. Basketball players, football players, they always emulate someone who they want to be. It's not my right to say you can't say that but if you gonna say that you should know the history of who this man is."
