Watch Reason and Schoolboy Q Crash a Listening Party in the "Pop Shit" Video

The track will appear on his second album New Beginnings.

On Wednesday, Top Dawg Entertainment signee Reason dropped the visuals for his latest single. "Pop Shit" features labelmate Schoolboy Q.

The video takes place at an album listening party for an artist who happens to look eerily like Reason. A masked Reason and Schoolboy crash the event, guns in hand. After releasing a tear gas canister, the group kidnaps the man of the hour, carrying him out of the party.

Jon Primo directed the video. In the past, Primo directed Kembe X's 2019 "Voices" video, Reason's "Flick It Up" video featuring Ab-Soul, and Luh Kel's "Y.O.U." video.

TDE's Kal Banx produced the track. Banx previously produced SIR's "John Redcorn," in addition to Dreamville's Cozz's "LamboTruck" featuring Reason and Childish Major. The track appeared on the Grammy-nominated Revenge of the Dreamers III album.

"I got Q to leave the golf course for a couple hours for this one!" he tweeted. "This one special to me man! Hope y'all fuck with it! Lmk how you feel in the comments. I'm an actor now, address me as such!"

"Pop Shit" is the second single from Reason's forthcoming New Beginnings album. On April 24, he released "Might Not Make It" for TDE's Fan Appreciation Week. Since the top of the year, he's released "Show Stop" and "Trapped In" with Boogie and Ab-Soul.
