The freestyle finds her making references to Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle in Time film and Colin Kaepernick.

Rapsody has served as the latest guest on Funk Flex's Hot 97 radio show and, as expected, she delivered an incredible freestyle.

Running a little over two minutes, the North Carolina rapper makes references to Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle in Time film, Colin Kaepernick and much more, her raps leaving Flex speechless.

"I gotta be honest, I don't know if you need to give anymore," Flex says at the end of the freestyle.

This follows Rapsody being snubbed from the 2020 Grammy Awards, with her latest album Eve not receiving any nominations. Eve's predecessor, Laila’s Wisdom, was nominated for Best Rap Album last year.

Rapsody took to Instagram after the nominees were announced to speak on the album being snubbed.

“Today…..disappointed. Yes. Frustrated…beyond. But, you have to tell yourself the good fight is never an easy one,” she said in a lengthy response accompanying the cover art for Eve.

"…the acknowledgment for your craft indeed feels amazing!! I haven’t been nominated for much but what I have I’m thankful for," she continued. "There’s so much power and weight in numbers, nominations and awards….we artist know what that does for our exposure; and for the many, validation. And you want people to continue to discover and play and be inspired by the music. That’s what I get excited about anyway. But, hey….we keep on creating."
