It’s been a minute since we caught up with future-r&b specialists, Little Dragon. Sure they lent their talents to some of 2016’s biggest records (De La Soul‘s And The Anonymous Nobody… and Kaytranada‘s 99.9%) and even a little resurgent moment that found the group tipping their hats to Planet Prince. But there’s been little in the way of standalone funk from the crew since 2015.
But leave it to Yukimi & Co. to sneak one in for Valentine’s Day. Today, Little Dragon has added their contribution to the scores of musicians letting the love spin, releasing the slow-burning and seductive new single “High” with a video that is equal parts kush-kissed daydream and enchanted romance. They’ve also announced a 20-date stateside tour for you catch your feelings live and direct. Watch the video for “High” down below and pick up your copy of the single on iTunes today. Hopefully, we’re not too far off from a new album now.
