Watch Kodak Black Walk Out of an Interview with Ebro After Being Asked About His Rape Case

Source: Hot 97

Things got a little testy between Kodak and Ebro.

On Wednesday (December 12th) Kodak Black stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning. He was there to promote his upcoming album Dying to Live. However, things went off the rails.

About 15-minutes into the interview, Ebro Darden, the host of the morning show, asked Kodak about the sexual assault case the rapper is fighting. (Kodak allegedly raped a teenage girl in South Carolina in 2016. The trial for the case is set to start in April 2019. Kodak can get up to 30 years in prison if convicted.)

Ebro said:

With respect to everybody involved in that case, you know we can’t get into details today. But, you know, we take sexual assault here serious. We can’t get into details, but we hope to have you back so we can have a deeper conversation about that because it’s a serious topic.

Kodak seemed to visibly clam up at the mention of the case. Ebro followed up by saying “You seem upset that I brought it up.”

Kodak said:

I feel like sometimes when niggas be going through shit, like, y’all be entertained by bullshit. Change the subject, or else I’m finna walk out.

Ebro then said they don’t have to talk about anything else and he could leave if he wanted to. And Kodak left.
