“Now you made it personal,” Kid said. “I kept it DJ…who’re you to judge somebody and say they fell or they didn’t this or they didn’t do that, because when that person come back you done woke up a humble beast.”
Kid then goes on to talk about how he feels Flex talks down on people, particularly the younger generation of rappers.
“I done watched him talk about dead people, I done watched him talk about kids, I just watched him — after the whole pressure I put on him — talk about Cardi B, a pregnant woman,” the DJ said. “This is a pregnant woman! Let’s take the Rap out of it, the business out of it, this is a pregnant human being that’s doing her thing on top of that and then she’s [also] from the Bronx.”
Recently, Flex took offense to Cardi B referring to herself as the “King of New York.”
“Hahaha! A below average rapper that doesn’t write could never be King or Queen of NY,” the DJ tweeted. Cardi ended up responding to Flex, taking to Instagram to say:
“Why can’t I feel like I’m the King of New York? Every time I go to my city, people cheer me on and show so much support and it has nothing to do with this rapping.”
