The track is the third single from Brown's uknowhatimsayin¿ album.

It's been a momentous few months for Danny Brown. He premiered the first season of his VICELAND show, Danny's House. He voiced a character in Rockstar Games' latest Grand Theft Auto V online update. Last but not least, he released his first album in three years to rave reviews. The album placed at number 7 in Okayplayer's Best Albums of 2019.

On Monday afternoon, he released the third video from that album. JPEGMAFIA produced "3 Tearz," the track features guest verses from Run the Jewels. Brown's team describes the scene in a statement on his YouTube channel:

"The video, directed by Colin Read, sees Danny, El-P, and Killer Mike in a Brooklyn warehouse with 100 camera-wielding fans, some champagne & a couple of blunts, performing the song with a cathartic, good-natured energy."

Brown previously worked with Run the Jewels on their Run the Jewels 3 album. Brown appeared on "Hey Kids (Bumaye)." JPEGMAFIA also appears on the Flying Lotus produced-uknowhatimsayin¿ track "Negro Spiritual." The duo recently paired up again to host a Grand Theft Auto V live stream on Twitch.

The uknowhatimsayin¿ tour will begin its abroad leg in late March. Danny is set to perform in Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Dublin, and London before closing out in New York on June 5.
