Over the weekend, tensions flared outside of Texas’ famous Whataburger chain restaurant. Underground king Bun B and his wife Queenie broadcasted an incident in Missouri City over the weekend. In Instagram Live footage, the couple explains that a white woman accosted them while trying to exit the parking lot.
According to Bun, the store’s drive-thru line extended into the street. The woman approached the couple blowing her horn. After they told her to wait, the woman allegedly threatened Queenie with violence.
“We told her to wait,” Bun told police that arrived on the scene, “we’re not moving yet. She told my wife she was gonna threaten to shoot my wife. Then she got out of the car and called my wife a stupid n****r.”
After filing a police report, Bun and his wife confronted the woman in a nearby grocery store. Understandably, she walked away without escalating the situation. Last May, Bun, and Queenie were involved in an even more unfortunate incident. A masked intruder broke into their home, threatening Queenie at gunpoint.
Thinking quickly, Bun managed to grab his pistol, eventually shooting the intruder in the shoulder. After a stint in the hospital, authorities charged the intruder (later identified as Demonte Jackson) with two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count of burglary.
