Today, the singer-producer also announces a forthcoming EP.

Brandon, a rising California-based singer has dropped his newest single “Baby” accompanied by a reflective visual. 

The video pushes forward Brandon’s artistry as it’s a bit exploratory, in it he’s seen in various outdoor settings. Shot in his hometown the desert suburb Riverside, California the clip presents him calmly wandering as he shares his stunning vocal depth. The visual is also split into numerous parts as he previews two additional tracks.

Despite being raised in California, Brandon has roots in Trinidad. Since things were a bit limited for him, he grew up pouring himself into his music. At one point in his life, he received a track scholarship for college. 

He produced and wrote each of his singles that have been released beginning with “Fallen (Here),” a in 2018, he also plays the guitar. Brandon also pushes against society's idea of Black masculinity in his music as he covers the emotions lurking beneath romanticism, and heart-ache. He joins the ranks of his peers Lucky Daye, SiR and Giveon as these three are currently shelling out music with neo-soul inclinations. His sound is hazy, soft and features hints of conversations he potentially wishes he could have with partners or beaus, which deems his sound inherently expressive. 

“Baby” is the latest chapter in his ongoing musical diary, on the single he expresses the fleeting moments that only exist between two lovers. The songwriting addresses what it feels like to yearn for the company of a partner even amid turmoil and conflict. 

The single provides an intimate look at what is coming next for Brandon, a seven-track EP. Titled Coming Clean, the release is set to drop on October 23.
