Kaepernick's relocated workout was attended by reps from eight NFL teams.

Yesterday, Colin Kaepernick skipped an NFL-organized workout after the league reportedly denied the blacklisted free agent his own media team and presented an unclear waiver. Instead, the QB held a workout at a high school just outside of Atlanta attended by representatives from eight teams, according to ESPN.

But it appears that JAY-Z, the rapper who reportedly had some hand in organizing the league-backed event, is unhappy with how Kaepernick approached the workout. Per a report from TMZ, sources close to the rapper claim he was "disappointed" in Kaepernick, insisting he “turned a legitimate workout into a publicity stunt."

For his part, Kaepernick went through with the whole 40-minute session. Outside of the high school facility, Kaepernick addressed the press, stating "I've been ready for three years, and I've been denied for three years. We all know why I showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. So we're waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running. Stop running from the truth. Stop running from the people."
