Colin Kaepernick Tweets in Support of Two Players Who Kneeled During the Anthem

The protests continue

Only two players kneeled during the national anthem on the NFL's 2018 season-opening Sunday (September 9th). Those two players both played for the Miami Dolphins: they were Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson.

The two wide receivers kneeled minutes before Dolphins played the Tennessee Titans at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. (Dolphins would win 27-20; it was game that would last seven hours due to weather delays, making it the longest game in NFL history.)

After the two players kneeled, Kap showed his support by dedicating a Twitter and Instagram post to the two players:

Eric Reid, the ex-San Franciscosafety who like Kapernickprotested during the anthem and who also hasn't been able to sign with a team, sent out the exact same tweet as Kap:

Responding to a question about his protest after the game, Stills said, via the Palm Beach Post:

The protest is about making this country a better place, making the world a better place and you can either be for or against that.
