Can You Guess Which Rapper LeBron James And The Lakers Listen To On “White Boy Wednesdays”?

Hint: It’s not MGK.

LeBron James is a known fan of Eminem‘s. So it’s understandable why the rapper’s music was playing during a recent Lakers practice. However, James spoke on why they were specifically listening to Em while practicing on Wednesday.

“Today’s ‘White Boy Wednesdays.’ Seriously. You’re laughing, but today’s ‘White Boy Wednesdays,’ so only white boy music day, which I enjoy. I love Eminem, but it wasn’t just Eminem. We had a lot of good music today,” James told reporters according to USA Today.

“It’s a universal thing, right? It’s just like Taco Tuesdays. It’s a [expletive] thing. You guys look at me crazy when I said, it like, ‘Oh, [expletive], ‘White Boy Wednesdays.'”

Back when Em’s Kamikaze album dropped, the basketball star praised the project on Twitter.

Although the Lakers are cool with Em, a couple of rappers don’t seem to be. Jay Electronica called him out for saying Diddy killed Tupac on his song “Killshot.” Then Joe Budden revealed that Diddy had gotten involved in regards to the lyric, which was: “The day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits he put out the hit that got Pac killed.”

“Nothing to speculate about. Nothing to talk about,” Budden said. “Puff said it’s in his hands and he said I can tell ya. That’s the end of that. He said, ‘Yeah, there’s nothing to say about it. It’s in my hands.’ He’s wild. Period.”
