Mark Geragos, Colin Kaepernick's attorney, made quite the statement recently about the possibility of the quarterback returning to the NFL soon.

During a recent appearance on The Adam Corolla Show, Geragos was asked to give a prediction about Kaepernick's future with the NFL, to which the attorney responded:

"I think within the next 10 days somebody will sign him. I think somebody's gonna sign him. I think the NFL has to come to their senses, and realize every day that goes by just proves the collusion case even more."

However, Geragos did not provide any additional details on if any of the teams have actually expressed interest in signing Kaepernick or not. Kaepernick recently filed a grievance against the NFL for collusion.

"Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Kaepernick wants to trigger termination of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement," Pro Football Talk reporter Mike Florio previously said. "Article 69, Section 2 of the CBA allows for the agreement to be terminated prematurely in the event of proof of collusion. Under Article 17, Section 16(c) of the CBA, termination can arise from only one incident of collusion involving only one player if there is clear and convincing evidence of a violation."

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback also recently signed a book deal with Random House imprint One World worth over $1 million. Initial reports had stated that he was "taking meetings with publishers in the New York offices of WME," but has now signed with the same book publishing company that has released books from Ta-Nehisi Coates and Jay-Z.
