The verdict is in for Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

On the Thursday night NFL game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Clevland Bowns, The Texas A&M alum struck Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph with his own helmet after Rudolph attempted to remove Garrett’s.

NFL spokesman Michael Signora officially announced an indefinite suspension of Garrett on Friday via Twitter.

The suspension will last for at least the remainder of the 2019 season. Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey received a three-game suspension for his role in the fight. Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi received a one-game suspension.

The NFL has fined each franchise $250,000. The announcement indicates further discipline could be coming. Garrett “must meet with the commissioner’s office prior to a decision on his reinstatement.”

According to ESPN, Mason Rudolph isn’t ruling out any legal options.

Tim Younger, Rudolph’s agent, said in text message:

I am gathering all information and no options have been removed from the table,” Tim Younger said when reached by text message Friday morning.
