Outside of the media blitz surrounding Roc Nation's chief, Tyler The Creator returned to the world of music with some frequent collaborators (A$AP Rocky and Frank Ocean,) Calvin Harris released his eternal summer album with all the famous people and all the funk, while unheralded emcees like Wiki, Towkio and Princess Nokia gave us a few more reasons to keep a close ear to NYC and Chicago in the months ahead.
