The Round-Up: Best Songs of Month - October 2017
Source: Instagram
Featuring King Krule, NxWorries, Kelela and more
October 2017 has now come and gone, leaving nothing but unshakeable frequencies in its wake.
HEAR: In Hip-Hop and Beyond: Heatwave
The early stretch of the month saw long-awaited releases from Kelela, Kamasi Washington, dvsn, King Krule and Brent Faiyaz, while last week alone was laced with full-lengths from Big K.R.I.T. and Majid Jordan, as well as surprise albums from Willow Smith and a trio of ATLien trap stars in Offset, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin.
Which is to say that it might have been easy to get buried under all that heat in such a narrow span of time. But that's where we come in. Closing out the month, we're presenting a special edition of The Round-Up, featuring hand-picked selections of standout singles and deep album cuts from a (not just) knee-deep haul of October releases to prep you for this evening's Fright Night festivities, forever incomplete without a fitting score.
