Merry Friday before Christmas, good people. The second to last Release Day of an interminable 2018 is upon us. And the drops have yet to adjust their relentless pacing.

A small batch of long-plays lead the charge with 21 Savage's star-specked sophomore album i am > i was and The-Dream's mile-long triple-header, Menage A Trois. Filling in the space between, a mountain of fresh loosies have emerged.

Rae Sremmurd rang in the holidays with a pair of Christmas trap triumphs. Zack Villere shared a short-stack of dulcet sketches. Valee and DRAM crossed the streams on a minimalist monster. Kaytranada furnished Shawn Mendes' pristine pop styles with a glimmering recalibration. Neon Indian painted the holidays purple with a synth-and-funk-loaded specimen. Luminary legends Roy Ayers and Alessandro Alessandroni each chimed with early gifts, the former sharing an Afro-house update to "Searching," the latter offering a 70s slow-burn disco stomp.
