Freddie Gibbs Joins Zeds Dead On Synth-Soaked Single “Back Home”

Zeds Dead ft. Freddie Gibbs - "Back Home"

Later this year, Mad Decent production duo, Zeds Dead, will release a follow-up to their 2014 album, Somewhere Else, via their very own freshly-launched imprint, Deadbeats. Today, they’ve unleashed the album’s first single, “Back Home,” featuring the consistently-dope, Freddie Gibbs, whose Shadow Of A Doubt LP is still getting all kinds of burn ’round these parts. Here Gibbs spreads out as a true vocalist, half-crooning the hook to this ruminating riddim. You can stream Zeds Dead and Freddie Gibbs’ “Back Home” below, just be sure to keep your eyes out for their new album in the months ahead. In other news, Freddie Gibbs is setting sails on a massive new tour this year, the date for which are listed just under the player.
