Your Old Droog is the Coney Island mic killer that's had the internet ablaze this past year. First we though he was Nas, then he dropped some new material on us and some of us still somehow thought it was Nas. Now we can finally rest assured that Droog is just Droog, as his full-length self-titled debut is now streaming in its entirety on NPR's First Listen. For fans of his EP, there's plenty of residual heat, reworking and filling out the more demo-ish joints, adding a few more levels of his microphone mastery to the mix.

It isn't all too often that an EP gets picked up for an extended take, but that should only speak to the power of the South Brooklyn bomber and this new spin on the boom-bap tradition, dripping with jazzy chops and tuff verbal. You've seen him busts freestyles here and there, drop heaters like an afterthought and maybe even caught a few glimpses of his face, but it's officially time to get familiar with your boy. You can stream Your Old Droog's self-titled debut below, just be sure to keep it locked, as I'm sure you will soon realize, there's plenty more to look forward to from this enigmatic MC. Preorder the record ahead of its Black Friday (November 28th) release on iTunes today.
